i kinda choked a little when i saw the picture of the australian contingent walking into the stadium at the commonwealth game being held in new delhi now. ooh....the pride, the joy, the honour of representing your country.
seeing all the contingents in their uniforms is one of my favourites during the opening ceremony. some say it is bored, but not for me.
well, i did not watch the opening this time because i have no tv here, but i know i will be checking the results of the games everyday.
so good luck to all athletes and whether you win or lose, you are already champions in ppl's hearts.
p/s: i went to commonwealth games 98 in kl with grandpa to see 100m and 200m semi-final and i also attended the closing ceremony. it was really cool.
