cny silhouettes in genting highlands

just trust chan ling to give you impulsive and crazy ideas. going to genting highlands on the second night of cny just to have a cup of coffee bean and to feel the cool. he was inspired by puisee actually as she was going there with her family in the evening. when chanling heard that, he also wanted to join the crowd.

the agreed time was 8.30pm from my house, but you know my friends lah, all dilly dally they only started at 9pm. and this trip was like a family trip for me. dad was the driver of my car and his passengers were aunt, mom and yours truly. the others went in ying's myvi, chanling drove singthian, kam wei and ying's friend from kl, sally. what a happy lot in the car...their car lah.

as i arrived early, i had the time to search for all the cny decos genting put up to brighten up the misty atmosphere. so here are some. the weather was 17.5C that night. quite cold as the wind was strong. everyone was shivering except chanling, he has put on weight, so he has extra fat for the extra protection. hahahaha....he is the butt of our joke now when it comes to weight.

can you find the choy san? the bright blue figure in the middle.

i love these hanging giant lanterns along the road.

this was what i had. the hot chocolate was not chocolaty at all!! starbucks wins big time!! the piece of cake was blueberry mousse cake. err...putting on weight? ok lah...starting already cause it is cny mah...but never mind, many ppl said i had lost weight...so a little reward lah. seokboon's mom couldn't recognise me! waa...so different meh???

yoga pose to warm that cold feet. padan muka...wearing slippers up genting. this was taken at the coffee bean outside resort hotel. brr...direct wind blowing towards us. we sat here from 12.30 to 1.30a.m. many crazy revellers were like us also lah.
aikkss....the not so little red riding hood, or ppl also wanna call old riding old and in more polite term, mature red riding hood.

this photo is specially dedicated to our dear friend, miss yen in the states now. they want to tell you that they miss you and that you are dearly missed and they know you miss them...nope...you miss the table and the tiles too. ;P
