i am back....still at the office, there are 2 meetings to attend. so i am really worn out. i think my legs are numb and i am going to lose them soon. well, it feels that way.
that weekend trip to hk....walking seemed to be the activity of the days. we walked like 70% of the time. in the rain, in the sun, in the malls, on the streets, in the casinos, etc. i think i have been to enuf casinos for the year in macau. so many of them sprawling everywhere and really huge establishments as well. i felt like i was in china when i was there. the whole island is made up of chinese- visitors, and workers alike. the staff will talk to you in mandarin and think you are from the mainland when you converse in chinese.
anyway, reached home after midnight yesterday. and i only got to bed at 1 plus. was woken up in the middle of the night by the howling rain and wind outside. it was really stormy. alarm rang at 5a.m. din wanna get up at all. left the house at 5.30 but was held up at the bend out onto the highway from the tol. a fallen tree. yes, the wind's menace. luckily they were in the midst of clearing the fallen tree. i would have been late to work.
freshened up as soon as i reached and after putting some touchups on the face, voila, i am as fresh as ever, well appearance wise. and it has been nonstop. plan to hit the sack at 10p.m. keeping my fingers crossed for that.
p/s: pocket is crying, wailing, howling in pain. there will be new asw2020 lots for sale next monday. where to get the money???
