time for a quick review after having the new phone for 2 days.
hate it:
dunno how to navigate my way through
can't find the function i wanna find
have to be extra careful with the sliding keyboard because it really does slide easily
hate the moving keyboard when taking photo because the thumb will tend to move the board
had problem charging the phone
dunno how to check battery level of the phone
love it:
the stylish appearance
the qwerty keyboard
fast smsing
gosh, that is all i can say about my love for the phone. i think there are more 'hates' than 'loves'.
i am tearing my hair apart as i try to familiarise myself with the phone. changing into a smartphone just makes me dumber. and i dun think the phone is really that smart too. it is not really that user-friendly. the shortcut buttons are too few on the main screen and you have to press a few more before you can reach the application you want. sometimes, it lags as well.
the saving grace is the keyboard no doubt. have not tried the hd video yet and am not really sure of the photo quality since i haven't sent any for printing.
read some forums and other reviews on the phone, gosh, more complaints than praises.
well, i am not going to regret my purchase. i think it is the unfamiliartity that is making me so frustrated. let me find my way through the screen and buttons. i am telling myself that i am going to love the phone soon. have to give myself a prep talk to love a phone. imagine that.
the phone frustration is not the only big rock these few days. i am now in the midst of sorting all photos to be sent for development. i think i have collected more than rm1000 orders for photos last week. i need a clear head to get all the numbers right. people are already asking when they can get their photos. breathe escape, breathe!
i can breathe, but i cannot get clean water!!!!
how long do you think these few bottles can last? there is a water crisis in town. well, it is not that big but if you wanna blow it up you can. i heard that a lorry flipped into a river in the weekend and polluted the water with petrol. the water in the river flows to a water catchment area and hence now all water we get has a gasoline smell albeit not very strong.
but just to be safe, i am drinking from the bottle for the next few days. at the moment, there is no water dripping from the tap at all. i still have water from the tank. since there are only three of us here and we do not really use that much water, i am keeping my fingers crossed that i will have water to brush my teeth and wash my face tomorrow morning. i wonder whether the water is treated thoroughly now. will i get skin allergy? am having some breakouts on the face, but dun think it is from the water. but i have been drinking the water on sunday and monday without any idea of the accident. heck, only the chinese paper reported this water crisis. there is nary a word in the star. why do i buy the newspaper?? ( i know...dumbo0- you can't read chinese).
one more thing that is making me go insane is this:
the last of the milliennium trilogy. the second book is so much more exciting i think. the third one is about tying the loose ends....err....i think lah. only a quarter into the book. the book is like an addiction and i am getting cold turkey if i don't get to read any chapter a day.
has anyone else read this?? hollywood is planning a movie soon with daniel craig although there is already a swedish version out.
ok gonna end this now so i can quickly finish my work and jump into the book.
