so the second day of paris .....
after visiting the louvre, few hours were spent at galeries lafayette....
we headed back to our hotel after shopping and refreshed a little. no dinner for us outside that night. everyone decided to finish their instant noodle stocks and we were not that hungry.
then took the metro to blanche for moulin rouge. so many bouncers were standing outside. we were not allowed to bring in our cameras, hence no photo. diners were already eating inside when we got in at 8.15p.m. yes this is how bright 8p.m. is in paris now.
the show started sharp at 9p.m. it was ok but frankly, i was more amused by the non-dancing performances. while the dancers changed, they had juggling, ventriloquist, and russian head-balancing act. these 3 are my favourites ...well, all of our favourites actually. haha....
i guess ladies in top-less outfit does not fascinate us.
well, go to this website : http://youtu.be/NvJ62RI1ow0
if you want to see how the performances go in moulin rouge. someone filmed this secretly and posted it on youtube. although the quality is quite grainy, you can basically get what the whole show is about. the show ended at 10.45p.m. and the waiters quickly prepared for the next show at 11p.m.
i had a hot hotdog from a stand outside the theatre. yummy.
