a wonderful week of food and bag

it is picture galore post!!! are you ready for some mouth-watering food????

i am already in the holiday mood although the holiday will only start one week later. yup, 5 more days and school's off for the year!!!

the pace was really slow at work and i was wandering aimlessly without knowing how to get busy. hahha....no books to mark and no task to complete. phew.

so i was busy looking for activities to do and on thursday night, i went to ipoh to watch skyfall, the latest bond movie. i can't remember the last bond movie i watched in the cinema. guess it must have been ages. anyway, skyfall was really a good bond film. it was packed with exciting actions and gripping moments. my only complaint was the censorship board making the movie pg13 that all the sexy scenes were cut and i could not see the allure and sultriness of the bond girls.  haiz....that missing element. i love the new Q. such a breath of fresh air.

besides the good time in the cinema, i also had a good time at dinner at de garden (opposite kinta city). was in the mood for japanese food and i was brought to oh! sushi.
below are the things i ordered....only 3 of us there and of course we had to stuff everything into our stomachs. the food was really good that i could not stop ordering when i saw the photos in the menu!

spicy soft shell crab maki and cucumber with salmon something maki. very cooling cucumber.

this is a teppanyaki dish but i have forgotten what it is called. but it tasted like kimchi.

cucumber roll and fish roe sushi.

gyoza. they switch on the burner and we fry our own dumplings at the table.

tempura.

salmon flakes maki...or something like that.

so the bill came up to rm120. i guess it is reasonable for good food. definitely a place to go again.
am planning another trip to ipoh this coming thursday for japanese food again. but this time i will be in another restaurant. heard it is really good too.
too bad i am not a fan of raw food, hence no sashimi is ordered.

oh, on tuesday, i also went for a makan trip to temoh, but i did not take photo there. there were only 3 of us and we ordered 3 dishes at a famous chinese restaurant there.
one purpose of going out that night was to get the bag i ordered someone to help me buy from the USA. hahaha...okok...another bag. well, my first coach actually. you got to check out the latest legacy collection. i think it is the best collection by far from coach. you don't have all the CCCCs shouting at you from the bag. instead, you have supple leather in brilliant hues and wonderful shapes. you might even want to get one in every shade and in all the designs!
i controlled myself and got a small sling bag cum clutch. oommmmm......

oh, got this bar of chocolate as souvenir too. yummy. lots of chopped almonds inside and definitely dark enough. dad is taking a piece a day and i am not going to lose out.

now back to my bag.

do you love the red? i don't have any red bag, hence i settled for this colour. this is the back of this bag and it is one of the 2 coach's sign  you can see on the bag outside.. that is all.

and today, i had another makan. it was the workplace's end of the year lunch. it has always been lunch since we have colleagues travelling from all over the places within the district and also some living in another district.

this time, we ate at seafood garden restaurant in tg malim. very near for me. but poor boss drove all the way from simpang pulai. of course i asked him first before suggesting the place to everyone else. since he did not mind, then everyone else of course agreed loh.

the theme is green. and that gave me a chance to wear something new which i bought at the beginning of the year. hahahaha.

high collared neck....but short at the hem ;D see my blue crystal ring??

the second time i am wearing this pair of heels. how sad and this is such a nice pair of heels. they don't hurt my feet and i love the arrangement of the straps. sexy.

this is our door gift, from ikea, a diy box. everyone loved it since it is so practical.

now to the food:

so one table cost rm300 and 10 were seated at one table. so on average, it was only rm30 per person. cheap right for the dishes we got???

my lucky draw prize. some snacks and a bottle of soft drink. well, better than going back empty-handed.

am going to be holed up in  tg malim for three days for meetings. hope the weather won't be wet everyday. i need my exercise!!! i think i have not exercised for more than 2 weeks now. bad.
