day 2 osaka, shop shop shop

it was all about shopping and shopping and shopping and some walking of course yesterday. oh, there was some nice food too, but i would not be able to post the pics now.

i am in a rush actually. off to universal studios soon but damn it!!!! i am going in a bad bad shape.
i caught the cold yesterday while using the computer under the air-conditioner unit and i did not sleep at all the whole night. was busy staying awake to get the mucus out of the nostrils.
errrggghh....and this morning, i saw the pieces of tissues were reddish in colour.....gosh, my nostrils are really having a bad bad time.

will take a flu tablet after this hoping that the runny nose will stop.
weather today is 15 celcius highest and 9 celcius lowest. but i will be in a cold lah due to the condition of my nose. gosh...i wonder if i can get an early night today. i need my sleep.

ok...some shopping photos. i was not the one that really shop the most in our group. surprise surprise! hehehe....i only have targetted things to buy while the rest shopped as they saw things they liked.

this was the queues outside hankyu department store before opening time. gosh.....they really couldn't wait for the malls to open huh???

we went to namba area yesterday because i wanted to catch the annual anime festa that they had around. it is an annual thing and all ppl dressed in cosplay would be out on the streets parading their costumes and exchanged their cards. kawaiii!!!

but before actually reaching the parade streets, there were many many detours....and in the name of shopping.

did not go to kuromon market. heard it is the place to go if you want to get to the fish market.

there were a few interesting cars in this area plying the roads.

this was where the big DETOUR happened. shopping for cameras!!! yes, i use the plural- cameraS.
the cameras and their equipment here are really really cheap. almost half the price of what they retail for in malaysia.

and my three friends....got 1 camera each....all the same model....but in different colours. one had no camera, the other 2, decided to get another camera because of the attractive price. me? i see no need in getting one since i can still use mine. rational eh??
anyway, the model that they bought was nikon j1 series 2.  we spent more than an hour here and i was so afraid that my anime parade would have ended by the time we found our way there.

they even did the tax exemption in the shop for you. how convenient. it is 5% off.

they were a lot of wandering aimlessly as we did not really know our way.

and finally, after getting their cameras, it was on our way again to nipponbashi for the street fest. go go go!!! i was sulking dy then hahahhaha.

our walk and search was not futile! enjoy some of the cosplay characters photos i managed to snap ok.

after feasting our eyes and it was still early for dotonbori, it was my turn to shop.
we also had to walk a bit and asked for directions to get to the address i had copied.

ta-da. found it. but the salesperson was very unfriendly and snobbish. hated him so much! and a few things i wanted were sold out! dang!!! the prices here are really much much cheaper. hahaha....happy happy happy.

then from here we decided to walk to dotonbori.....and of course there were a few detours as well. not me, i did not buy anymore things. they bought kipling bags which were cheap in japan as well.

check out the crowd in the lane......you could see only heads all the way. this was almost 8p.m. when the bigger shops decided to close. the less established ones closed at 9p.m. hence, i couldn't get my jeans!!! by the time i managed to find it, i only saw shut shutters. yes, my jeans is in my shopping list.
will go again today...and before 8pm!!!
