well, they might not seem much, but considering the number of athletes i registered, the percentage was really high.
i only registered 9 names and 7 came back with medals. i am really proud of my boys.
and one thing that pissed me off was how ppl commented that they did not get any training and just went for the competition.
hello! who was at the field in the evening shouting instructions and demonstrating some moves albeit her old age?? who is tanned now and got an injured left knee that she finds it hard to go up and down the stairs???
gosh, how am i going to walk up and down those stairs in all those shrines and temples in osaka, nara, kobe and kyoto??? wuuhhuuuuu!!!! i want to cry!
have been really busy these few days finalising the itinerary of the places to visit when i get there. it will be this friday midnight when i depart to osaka! yahoo!!!
in the meantime, i am trying my best to stay dehydrated, stay healthy and get fit fit fit for my trip.
well, i do have lots of vitamin c from fruits. got those big guavas and rose apples when i sent a kid home all the way to kuala bikam. they are really juicy and sweet. i also have oranges here to juice.
i really hope everything will go fine.
packing has already started at home last weekend.
the first thing to go in was my knee-high boots. hahaha....time to walk in those boots and paint the town red. they will keep my legs warm no doubt.
and i heard from my japanese friend that the weather is really mild as spring has officially arrived. so winter jacket is a no-no.
and got a piece of good news when i opened the papers this morning.
the cherry blossom season has actually begun in tokyo! well, there is actually a calendar you can find online which shows you all dates of the opening of the first flower and the best time to view them at different cities in japan. i am excited to see that i will be around in those few cities when the flowers bloom. maybe it won't be at its peak, but hey, it is better than nothing. such luck.
the weather has been really hot today and i have 2 cooling concoctions given free. woohoo!! that herbal jelly was from my housemate's boyfriend. the bottle of herbal tea was from a student who cycled all the way to my house to give it to me. have finished the jelly before dinner. the herbal drink, will take it tomorrow.
ok, it is time to call it a night. keeping my fingers crossed that this week is going to be a breeze and my knee will heal fast!
