the road to italy...

another day in front of the computer..this time arranging hotels/hostels.
i did not choose to stay in a dorm...all the rooms that i chose are double bed with ensuite bath. it is more comfortable that way and we will get more privacy. i hope we will get our good night rests when we are there. it will be travelling from daylight till sunset non-stop.

have managed to book all the rooms in the city...phew! now have to check credit card bill...gulp! some sites do not accept aunt's visa...what is their problem!
i have only managed to book one train ticket in italy, from florence to venice with my visa. then when i wanted to continue with the rest, the payment could not go through...could be blocked by maybank. so i called maybank lah...at 21.00 my time here..haha..that means it was 4a.m. malaysian time. yes, they have ppl working but half-awake. i had to hello a few times when i got to a silent line....but i could hear breathing sound. anyway, they were maintaining their system at that time, so i would have to call again.

the money spent in this trip is almost the same with if we were to join those chinese organised bus tour. but the only difference is, we are doing intensive italy tour...theirs only touch and go tour and they do not stop at florence and milan.

and the computer...cannot be saved lah. i tried installing avira and avg, just refused to be installed. so will have to wait till cousin get back and get someone to format it. here it means, bringing the whole thing to the shop and let them fix it there. non-branded pc (DIY), so there is no recovery cd. i wonder how much they charge.

oh, uncle is coming back from hk tomorrow. yeah...i dun have to go with aunt to walk the dog anymore. but then again, i might go on alternate days still for my jogging trips. have been disciplined ah, sub zero temperature also i still jog. but still cannot get used to the breathing and running the hilly slopes. out-of-breath!
