we started our journey quite late, at 10.30a.m. and reached there 3 hours later...yes it is that far. and the weather was not on our side when we were driving, rain, snow, fog...all in one. by the time we started exploring the outlets, it was 2 and when we finished, the sky was already dark at 5p.m.
we did go into stuttgart, but to have dinner with aunt't friend who lives on the north of stuttgart. it is very near mercedes arena and porche arena. i think the football field is at mercedes arena and mercedes benz museum is next to it. well, i only see the lighted signs...:(
must go to stuttgart again...during daytime and see what it has to offer. must spend a night there because the journey is too far. keep my fingers crossed.
oh, back to metzingen...again.. must mention hugo boss. it is the biggest warehouse and the busiest. guys in need of shirts, ties and suits and shoes...this is your place. all men came out with big bags. ties average at only €30 (RM140). cheap right? so save all your money and come here to shop for your annual working clothes.
besides hugo boss, the other brands are like burberry, swatch, lacoste, nike, adidas, polo ralph lauren, pepe jeans, diesel, armani, tommy hilfilger, cavalli, ed hardy, timberland, esprit, etc. go to www.metzingen.de esprit was of course buzzing with buyers, well, it offers some of the cheapest items here.
they also have warehouses for houseware, fabric and kitchenware and different parts of the town.
so if i tell you i did not get anything there i will definitely be lying. got a dress and a blouse for work from esprit, got a pair of flats from timberland and accessories from swatch. all at discounted prices and i get 10% VAT refunds at the airport when i leave.
we were driving in snow for about an hour.

nope, this is not what i get from esprit, someone asked my help to order esprit from the online shop here. cheap if you choose their discounted items. that silver pouch has a notebook inside,...hehe...that is mine.
ok..so now i have to go and get my sleep. it is 2119 now and i will be catching my flight to rome, italy at 6.30a.m. yawn...i wish. have to start the journey to the airport in hahn before 4 to reach there by 5. wish me luck in this trip to italy yeah. i have got a lot of reminders to be careful there and i hope the weather is on my side. venice was flooded few days ago...i hope it won't be when i get there on monday.

i still cannot get my train ticket from rome to florence...shit. hope i can get a seat on the second class when i reach rome. first class is too expensive...but if there is really no other seats available, i also have no choice..WAAAAAAAAA!!!
