it was pack and unpack.
it was fast to settle back to the hot humid weather back home since my arrival on friday was greeted by cloudy and wet weather.
then as soon as i got home, i started unpacking half of the contents of the suitcase. everything that needed to be washed was put aside, food stuff was put into another bag, and i was almost done.
on saturday, when the sun was hot and high up in the sky, all the clothes were hung to dry and dry they did in the afternoon.
by saturday night, all sweaters, pullovers and jackets were back in the wardrobe and the two pairs of boots i wore had already been sunned too.
on sunday, put the two pairs of boots back into their boxes, the suitcase back into its place and voila, i was ready to pack back to work.
so grabbed all the stuff i needed to bring back, put them into bags and loaded them into the car.
the white bag for clothes, the red bag behind for snacks i have bought for the kids and the yellow bag for all my fruits for the week.
it was cleaning the house time and cleansing for the soul. yes, cleaning and throwing things away are definitely soul cleansing.
i even wiped the fan.
the floor was vacuumed and mopped and it is all sparkly and spotless.
bedsheet has been changed too and i am going to smell freshly washed sheet when i sleep.
alarm has been set to usual time, 6a.m. and i guess i am ready to head back to work.
