food food food and food....and err...some shopping too lah

food food food. it is all about food today!!!!
carmen, wei quin, karen and yeelyn are here and i have to play host.

so our plan was to go to kl to mall hop and we sure did a lot of walking.....and of course shopping.

we wanted to go up the sky bridge in twin towers too but unfortunately, they had finished giving away all the passes for the day by the time we arrived. we arrived at 9.30a.m., one hour after they started distributing the passes. man! it must be because of the school holidays.

we began our shopping expedition in klcc, then it was to pavilion for movie (a-team) and shopping, and then it was back to klcc again.

oh, you guys must go and watch the A-team. A stands for AWESOME!!!! people were even cheering for the team in the cinema. you will get all worked up and glued to your seats as all the actions unfold right in front of the big screen. worth the money man!!! and that should be the plan.

ok the foodie adventure meanwhile started in tg malim first.
i think this is one of the best pan mee shops in malaysia!!! if you ever drop by in tm, just head straight to the bus station and look for the row of shop next to it and you will find U ONE ME. yup, that's the name of the shop. the pan mee comes in very big bowl too. so you will add another 50cent to add noodles to your order, 2 persons can share that one big bowl. they have so many different ways of cooking so a bigger group will definitely get to try more varieties.

next, lunch in hutong lot 10. i think that will be my regular place whenever i am around pavilion.
this time around, i had the bak kut teh. yummy!!! it is the dry version they are serving here and the ribs are soooo succulent! the popiah is also very good. ok...i know my aunt is already drooling now and she will scold me again for making her feel hungry. hahaha...

after watching the movie, we decided to go the loaf, a bakery. it was quite crowded and we had to wait a while for empty tables.
the uhu cheese cake is only so-so but the bread and buns are the stars here. so go ahead and pick any. you will not be disappointed.

finally, for dinner it was at chilli's restaurant. of course the crowd was there, we had to wait 40 mins to be seated. we were still very full from all the carbs gained from the loaf, so we only ordered two dishes and shared them.
the two dishes were just ngam ngam for us. we would not be able to take another one. and man, this was the most expensive meal lah. rm105.

and shopping?? okokok...i shopped. a pair of cotton capri pants from esprit (50% discount), a mango skirt (60% discount) and a new pair of black jeans from true religion (70% discount!!!!).
i love the pair of jeans. fit fit ah and of course the huge discount. the before sale price was rm1300(!!!!). crazy right? i paid rm390. i need to alter the length a bit though. too long for my short legs.

and the pillow? well, it is an early birthday present from quin. i helped solve her headache by choosing my own present. my pillow in bidor is getting too flat already. so i hope this one that comes with gingko leaves is going to make my slumber sounder and better lah.

time to hit the bed. yawn! tomorrow have to bring the kids sight-seeing in kl again.
