yes! i finally got an uninterrupted sleep yesterday. went to bed at 10.15p.m. and i only woke up when the alarm rang at 6a.m. i am relieved.
been losing sleep for the past few nights because of some discomforts here and there. first it was the throat inflammation on saturday. then it was followed by the super-dry throat which made me cough. the dry throat is still here but i have been coughing out phlegm in the morning. so it is good. i take the phlegm as an alien inside the throat with spears which keep poking at the lining of your larynx. once you get rid of them, there will be less itchiness.
then 2 nights ago, woke up in the middle of the night (12.30a.m.) and vomitted. nothing serious. it was a case of indigestion. mcdonalds chicken deluxe burger, mango and grapes went into the toilet bowl. but what a relief it was. the discomfort started 30 mins earlier and had been sitting there and wondering whether i should vomit or not. luckily i had a 'helper' to quicken the process.
ta-da. here is it. some people like minyak cap kapak, but this is what i like, a product from thailand.
i rubbed it onto my tummy before i went to sleep that night as soon as i noticed my tummy was bloating. after that burger meal, i took too much water (almost 1 litre) because the throat was just unbearably dry. so i guess all the enzymes were washed away as well and did not have a chance to digest my food properly. lesson learnt.
after vomitting, i felt so much better. but still could not sleep. in the end, woke up at a quarter past 2 to go downstairs and got myself a cup of warm water to soothe the tummy. only then i went back to sleep.
what an episode. please let me recover fast. i am just drinking more water to keep my throat wet. i should gargle with salt huh. ok, will do it when i get home today.
going to isetan for their anniversary sale this friday. so that will take my mind off work and all the marking. hahah...but hope the trip is not going to tire me. have to go back to the workplace on saturday. what a week.
