she just got married

hope chinching does not mind me commemorating her wedding with this blog post. congratulations woman!!!

so reached cyberview lodge following the gps and the directions given on the hotel website at 5.15p.m. gosh, it was raining intermittenly along the way. i was already wondering whether the garden ceremony would still be held in the garden.

cute sign huh??? that is definitely a keepsake.

this is the garden area where the registration of marriage ceremony was supposed to take place. well, it rained before 5.30p.m. and all the workers scurried to bring in the chairs and the audio system. talking about workers, i felt as if i had landed in another country when i went into the resort. there were so many blacks there! i think most of them are students here and working part-time at the resort. don't we have enough malaysian students to hire??

so in the end, the ROM was held outside the banquet hall in a small covered area. was rather humid there. the registrar came all the way from shah alam. well, i guess with a little fee, they will come. right? i was there with most of the relatives. i think almost 70% attending were all relatives. gosh, so many and of course all came to support!!!

aaahh....here comes the beautiful bride. she was gorgeous!! the hair suits her and the gown was so elegant. she looks like a princess but without her tiara ;) think she was really happy that day as some tears of joy were shed.

so we went into the banquet hall at 7p.m. but food only came to the table at 7.50p.m. not too late lah. the stomach was beginning to growl slightly already by then. luckily the plate of noodles i had earlier could really last me that long. phew!
and she was playing sammi cheng's song for the 50 mins (!!!!!) before the dinner started. oh how torturing!! haha....it was only one mandarin song (which i can't remember the title). was soo soo glad when they finally changed songs. hahah....
food was s0-so only lah and the black waiter serving us was really clumsy, spilling soup and clanking dishes, etc.

coaster cum photo frame (??) as wedding favours. really practical, but there was nothing to remind us that it is from their wedding because u can simply throw the card away lol

so i said goodbye to the happy couple and family at 11p.m. there were only 7 at my table so we can actually have more food on our plates....but remember what i said about people eating less than moderate nowadays in the previous food? nobody went for second helping. dunno whether they are watching their weight or because of the food quality.

well, i was glad i went to witness her marriage. i know i did not take any alcohol yesterday because i had to drive back alone, but anyway, here is a toast to both of you for a happy and blissful marriage. hope you will enjoy yourself in the soon-to-be decided honeymoon and 'work hard' ah ;P
