2 good movies in 2 days. bliss.

i think i have just watched the best movie of 2012 and maybe one of the best movies ever made today. gosh...i can't believe that i am saying this myself....but the movie was really incredible.

above, are tickets to 2 movies. gosh, these two tickets were really the most expensive tickets i have ever paid for. for the hobbit, i paid rm16. and for life of pi, i had to cough up rm30 since i couldn't get any tickets in normal 2d theatre, hence i had to settle for imax hd theatre. however, it was really a blessing in disguise. life of pi is the movie i think should be in the running for movie of the year and should be at the top spot of every movie-goer list.

watching it in imax theatre totally enhanced the experience. i was so impressed as soon as the movie began when i saw all the effects brought on screen. it was totally mind-blowing and i was speechless. it really left me gawking in my seat. i was glad my first imax experience was totally worth it. have i become a 3d convert now?? no. i have not. i am of the opinion that not all movies are suitable for this. not for the hobbit. i want to feast my eyes on the landscape that plays an integral part of the movie. it was different in life of pi since the focus was on few spots on the screen.

everyone should go and watch life of pi. it is a movie suitable for all ages regardless of the language they speak.

well, the mall that i went to was sunway pyramid. this was the hotplate dinner we had before the movie. i think pepper lunch is a japanese brand. it is quite an interesting concept. your food is served on a hotplate and you have to mix mix mix everything to cook them. the popular dishes are mixture of beef and rice...so you got to make your own fried rice.

and...how can i go to sunway pyramid and come home empty handed?? well, i was not planning to shop at all!!!! serious!!! it was my friend who wanted to shop at anakku for her niece...and when i saw 50% discount....gosh, how could i not think of little callum??
so i bought the above. i could imagine him looking dapper in that blue striped shirt and cute in that green mickey mouse jumper. aww.....he should be able to fit into them come new year.

and i bought more hello kitty merchandise?? no lah....it is a gift from my friend for the car. kekeke....i do need them for the back seat. thank you so much! muah!

ok before i leave this post....a trailer of life of pi for those who haven't seen it yet. go and watch it on the big screen after you have watched the trailer. ;)
