randomness with cousins

 this is going to be a very random post of photos taken here and there.

my cousin and uncle are back from australia....so they brought with them this space-ship. ;)

 well, it looks like an alien craft right? guess, what do you think it is? well, you can see the cable there, definitely an electrical equipment.

well, it is a multi-purpose oven. cool eh?? you can actually see inside while it is working.
so at the time i was taking this photo, my aunt was making dried pork. you can also use it to bake cookies, cakes, anything that can be placed in an oven i guess.

well, they lugged it all the way back from aussie because it is so much cheaper there. i think this oven only costs less than rm200. a bargain i guess.

besides that machine above, uncle also never ever failed to get a box of cherries home ;) i am the only one eating them at home. kakaakak...burp!

today, cousins from kl also came and we went to the weekly market in the afternoon. gosh, it was blazing hot.
took these photos in the market. just love the assortment of colours.

 the drinks were really tempting on such a hot day and we got a glass of chilling assam boi.

for dinner, we went to the hidden gem in tg malim, kakaka.....well, i did call it that in my post last time. it was none other than mani-thai. i just love the ambience there. the perfect place for chilling out with a glass of beer or two.

the food here is ok.....it will satisfy your thai food craving in tg malim.
my tummy is still hot now from the tom yam soup we had. it did not taste spicy in the mouth, but i guess it slowly burns me inside.

no more cousins dy for now at home ;) atticus has gone down to stay with those in kl and i have the pc all to myself.

now to 2013 new year resolutions.

it is the last week of the year. i am not one who is used to reflecting things and thinking back of the hits and misses of the year. i could only think of the highlights of my year which will make 2012 memorable.

so in brief, 2012 means the passing of our beloved grandma, me going to yunnan in march, the birth of my oh-so-cute nephew, me going to melbourne to see and cuddle him and falling in love with him. gosh, i can't think of anything else. work wise, it was all right, used to it already. health wise, fingers crossed, everything is functioning.....except for the not so good count of red blood cells.

i guess it was a good year and i count my blessings.

so for 2013, i am not asking a lot. i just want a good health.
hence, new year's resolutions lead to better quality of life. have to keep myself fit and healthy so i can do whatever i want to do.

 this pair of running shoes comes right on time. gosh, the more i look at it, the more beautiful it is. my most beautiful pair of running shoes till now. the pink, the lime green, the comfort, the light weight. i am cooing with love. got it at 50% discount and paid rm220. a really good deal.

next in the resolution is to play less cafe world! gosh...i thought of stopping completely....but it was too hard!!

no chasing goals. only log in to collect and cook, then leave the cafe. no sitting in front of the notebook for hours clicking on requests and sending them.

i have to pick up on my reading. i have read a lot of mills and boons this year, and neglected my other novels and books. this has got to stop. so hopefully with less time spent on the notebook, i will have more time to read and to finish as many as possible. the books unread are already pilling up so high and my brother is complaining already.

i really hope to finish reading this one novel i have started months ago in these few days. it will be a good closure for the year and prepares me for the start next year.

there is no turning back now since the whole world get to see my resolutions. so i better make good of my promise.
