my turn to do something crazy

boy, i thought i was going to have an easy day today....i was wrong.

i only have time to blog now. i have just finished reading yesterday's paper an hour ago. i did have my cup of tea while reading the day's paper in the afternoon. i had one class in the morning. i mopped and swept the floor in the afternoon. i prepared lunch (steaming the food and boiling rice) and dinner. prepared meal for the dog. took in the washings and folded them. burnt the incense. vacuumed bits and pieces left by termites at the prayer altar and the door at the kitchen.

haha...i forgot to sweep the floor outside the house. the recycling truck came and took away 2 of the 3 sewing machines and all the things i accumulated this week.

and it rained intermittently today starting from early in the morning.

i did not notice grandma in any state of delirium today....so i guess this was not a bad day at all.
on the other hand, i was the one being called 'crazy' today kakakaka.

i was supposed to go jogging at proton city today with 2 teenagers from my neighbourhood. so they came to my house at 4.45 p.m. and we set off. the weather was fine when we started.

then, as we were almost reaching proton city, it was as if we were entering another wet wet wet world. it was pouring so badly there that i had difficulty seeing the road in front of me. gosh. so i had to make a u-turn.

and as i was heading home, it was as if we were chased and followed by the rain. but it was not that heavy. i stopped at a grocer to buy a loaf of bread and tried to find my nescafe gold 3-in-1. unfortunately, the shop did not sell that range. then the girls were looking at potato chips from chipsters. they mentioned that the supermarket in town sold the maxi packet of chipster so we decided then to walk to town with umbrellas. why not? i remembered mom saying that supermarket had the nescafe i wanted. so off we went after putting our things in the house.

hahahaha....it was a first for all 3 of us to walk to town. now we know the time taken is 20 minutes to reach town from our place. the rain was quite cruel to us and lashed at us from time to time. but we persevered and did not give up. kakaka....

we could not help posing on the sungai bernam bridge. yes, we walked from selangor to perak. what an achievement!! hahaha......and this photo is also proof that we actually walked!

you could see how heavy the rain was in this photo.

and ta-da...the rain stopped when we reached the supermarket and we got what we wanted. 3 of us finished the bag of potato chips by the time we reached my house. it started drizzling too as we were almost home.

my shoes and socks were all drenched and now, i have no more excuse not to wash that pair of running shoes. its virgin wash kaka.

uncle kam had left for hong kong in the afternoon and now the house will be slightly quieter.

aaaa....the umbrella which i have used only less than 5 times. i put it on the floor to dry but i did not realise that beanie would take it as a plaything. so after taking my shower, the once perfect umbrella was mangled beyond its shape. goodbye umbrella. thank you for accompanying me in my walk to town and back. you will be missed. luckily i have photos as souvenirs kan? ;)

have a good weekend!!! (keeping my fingers crossed)
