time for ginseng tomorrow

another early day and a short night today. but...this will stop starting tomorrow when i board my flight to korea. sneezed a few times earlier and was so worried that i would fall ill because one of the symptoms of my body getting weaker is 'the sneeze'.

well, i can't worry too much. those who are here will have to hold the fort and handle things at home dy.

grandma should be in the maid's good care. today, as scheduled, i brought her to see the visiting phyciatrist. yeelin went with me.

this is the cheerful area which they borrowed. permanently, this is clinic of the elderly which i heard is used every friday.

anyway, grandma did not know why she was there because she said that the doctor did not even look at her hand. we just told her it was check-up to see her condition.

well, in short, grandma had visual and audio hallucination and slight dementia. she did say she still sees cameras in the bathroom pointing at her and in the room too. she did open up a bit to the doctors and she also sobbed while telling them the stories.

so now she is prescribed an anti psychotic drug called haloperidol. she is only given the lowest dose. and oh, do you know what is grandma's weight now??? you won't believe it!!!

she is only 22kg!!! that is the weight of our luggage when we travel. gosh......wind can really blow her away.

she was upset when she reached home after the visit, but i wasn't home. i was out with cousins (en and yeelin). my brother smsed and asked what happened at the clinic. i guess she was suspicious why the doctor asked her questions about her habits and stuff. well, we managed to pacify her and she took the pill tonight. everyone told her it was to let her sleep better and to keep her brain in good condition. i really do hope grandma's condition can be controlled.

cousins and i went to town and did some shopping and had lunch at the pan mee shop.
these are what we had- wat tan, tom yam and black pepper gravy. yummy.

cousin en also brought her mitten cum glove for me. check it out. cute and colorful. i like.

cute huh?? and she is going to lend me her hat and scarf tomorrow. they did not approve of the scarf i had....they said it did not match my coat. haha....so tomorrow, cousin is going to drive me to her house before dropping me at 1 utama to catch the bus to lcct.

thank god for cousins. i don't need to catch the train then from tm. the train will be the mode of transport when i come back though. haiz...too bad dad is not going to the airport around the time of my arrival.

oh, and at home, things were in a mess, literally. yee lin had to pack for her brunei and mauritius trip while i had to pack for mine. and we had to make sure grandma was ok.

we managed to get her stool sample...all thanks to yeelin. she was awesome!!! she scooped grandma's shit from the toilet bowl and put it in the case. jiaen and i did the 'shit delivery' to the clinic.....BUT.....damn it!! the clinic was closed....and it remained closed at night.

so in the end, wei had to throw away the sample and he would have to get the shit himself tomorrow. hahaha....
grandma gave everyone of us a small red packet for doing our things....the maid got one, wei, jia en, yeelin and i. it was great to see her happy.

well, my packing was done in a jiffy, and my bag only weighs 12kg.
this will be my reading companion during this trip. hope it is good.

ok...12kg is really light although my bag is big. i dun have a smaller one to fit my puffy winter jacket. the bag is only 1/2 full. i can surely fill it up with lots and lots of things? but shopping in seoul? not in the plan but i have some requests to buy things there for some people.

a kid also suggested that i start taking ginseng there everyday to make sure i stay healthy. what a great idea!!

well, let's hope that i have a good time and not freeze in the super cold condition. one look at the weather forecast tells me that it is 0 celcius and below. brrrr.....help!!!
