vanity attack

oh, i so love my HARPER'S BAZAAR this month!!!

it is all candy floss as i am turning every page and my heart races as my eyes catch all the exquisite pieces on show.
and i envision myself being in them, dressed from head to toe in nothing but luxuries. precious leather, structured dresses, sparkling jewellery...aaah the high life.

it is time to start those punishing exercise regimes again if i want to look good and feel good in clothes. confidence is an essential booster to feel good.
looking at all those waif and long limbs on the models will certainly help. oh, if someone will just take away that extra bump on the posterior- that will be one of the best gifts ever. what is the thing you don't like most about your body? mine is definitely the rear. the biggest muscle on the body?? take mine away please.

i can go on forever on this. the list of things i want is getting longer and longer with every season.

1. when will i get my tag heur aquaracer 2000?
2. when will i get a celine, mulberry, burberry, dior, chanel, the impossible hermes, ok make it a coach bag? the coming bleecker collection from coach has caught my attention.
3. what about that piece of sterling silver jewellery by elsa peretti for tiffany?

come to think of it, i am a big accessory fan, eh? will rather spend on them than on clothes. a piece of accessory can really change the whole look. trust me, i have a drawer full of accessory and i still think there are missing pieces.

well, i am continuing my quest to catch the elusive and to drown myself further in my luxurious dreams. don't pull me out as it is my voluntarily blissful sinking.

**escape was bitten by the fashion bug while writing the above piece. the words just rushed out and could not be constrained while jabbering about her fascination for fashion. she wants to believe the effect of this fanatism would be temporary but a huge doubt is looming. it will be a never ending love-hate relationship with fashion because she is just an ordinary gal earning a meagre income who can never afford what is mentioned above nor does she have any occasion to dress for. even if she is decked to the ninth in luxuries, she believes she will still be unnoticeable in the crowd due to her ordinariness.
